Below are some of the ingredients that you should avoid when buying skincare products.

1. ALCOHOL

is often used in skin care products for a dry effect, and it works fast. Types of alcohol, such as alcohol SD, denatured alcohol and isopropyl alcohol are the choice of alcohol in skincare products. Alcohol works well on oily skin, because it regulates the oil immediately and the skin feels light. Although it works well, the dry effects can slow down the surface of the skin and it is very dangerous as it can be a barrier to changes and renewal of skin cells. The use of alcohol in the long run can leave your pores open and the appearance of patches as imperfections becomes more apparent.

2. PARABS

It is used as a preservative to prevent the formation of fungi / microorganisms. Paraben is not a natural remedy, but it is made by man and it should have a bad effect on the skin. Paraben also produces an abnormal estrogen that stimulates breast cancer. Estrogen is a hormone that plays an important role in maintaining women's internal health. Those with sensitive skin, the use of parabolic products can cause rashes and allergies. Parabens, which are often featured in skin care products, are methylparaben and propylparaben. The effect is only visible after prolonged use.

3. BENZOPHENONE.

This dangerous agent is also known as oxybenzone. These chemicals are commonly used in products for sunburn, nail polish, lipstick and lotion. The benzophenone-3 type is capable of producing harmful free radicals while affecting DNA cells. Allergies and eczema are the effects that occur as a result of using this chemical.

4. MINERAL OIL

These substances should be avoided as they contain carcinogenic substances. Carcinogen is a substance type that can cause cancer in tissues. In addition to cancer, mineral oil can cause acne, dry and aging skin problems. Those with greasy skin will be at greatest risk from the use of this material, as excess oil forms a layer on the skin surface, thus closing the pores, which are troublesome to the production of toxins and cause acne problems.

5. DROP CIRCLE

It is not advisable to use a product that contains artificial colors, as this color usually comes from petroleum or new coal tar. The skin is easily inflamed or irritated. If a product carries the D & C (Drugs & Cosmetics) label, it means the product contains artificial colors.

Understand the debate over free paraben products

Paraben-free products are now increasingly available on the open market, which has given make a heated debate about whether they really are needed. On one side of the problem you have the manufacturers using these preservatives to make their products more salable. On the other hand both consumers and industry watchdogs claim that parabens are linked to cancer and other health problems.

What is paraben?

Here you need to start, if you want to determine whether paraben-free products have their value money. Parabens are preservatives that are used in a variety of modern products made from creams, Lotions, soaps and shampoos for packaged foods. Parabens are cheap preservatives that extend the shelf life of these products, which makes it possible manufacturer to keep them in business for a long time. That saves money as without the preservatives, many of these products would leak before they have the chance to be bought and used by consumers. In fact, parabens are chemicals. In most cases, they are unnatural substances that the body can not process or delete properly.

Are they harmful?

People who recommend paraben-free products believe that they are connected between chemicals like these and deadly diseases like breast cancer. In addition, some studies have shown that parabens in the body that fall off can act as estrogen hormone levels and leads to breast cancer. It has also been suggested that paraben products can disturb the development of the reproductive system in boys, because they are so sensitive hormones at this stage of life.

The proof?

There are many studies that have shown a direct link between paraben and these health problems. What causes confusion for consumers is that manufacturers are now discontinuing their own research
Teams refute the evidence that points to this link. In the end, consumers are confused who to believe. In response, intelligent consumers play safely and prefer paraben-free products to the manufactured products with preservatives based on chemicals.

How are they identified?

If you look at the label of a product containing these chemicals, you will see one of these names:

Methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, isobutylparaben, isopropylparaben and
Benzylparaben.
To search for paraben free products, look for labels that indicate "no preservatives" or any other way that preservatives are not used. You can also find products that contain parabens and that are labeled as organic or bio completely natural. However, it is important to read the labels as not all "natural" products are complete paraben free.

What is the verdict? Are paraben free products really worth the money? For many consumers Concerned about what goes into their bodies through their skin, it's best to play safely and find products which completely omit the chemicals.
