  The more we know about how pollution affects our healthy generally, the more we realize how desperately our bodies need to escape every now and then from the sprawling, congested areas where so many of us live-from the fumes, dirt, and fast past that are part of a modern life. Our skin needs this period of respite as much as every part of us. Our pores need to breathe freely, without dirt and makeup to clog them. For our healthy we must get away periodically, even if only for a day at a time, to the sea shore, the woods, or mountains, wherever we can take a brisk walk in the clean air. Excuse that it is too difficult to get away should not be allow to stop us; chores and work commitments can wait while we make plans to take a day off from them over the weekend. 

  Public transportation can get us out of the city if no car is available for the outing. Those who live in the rural areas must also take a day or so away from their ordinary routine, consciously leaving the car behind and going outdoors for a walk in the countryside to take advantage of its good effects on our bodies.

  Winter weather is not fun for a skin, additional moisture helps, but you need to do more actually counteract these effects and keep skin looking youthful, smooth and glowing. So these are 15 tips to keep your skin more healthy and comfortable this season:
  1.  Do not use foundations or powder as protection against dirt.
  2.  Do protect your face and eyes from dirt particles. Wear light-tinted sunglasses. Use a good, pure eyewash to cleanse your eyes.
  3.  Do roll up your car windows when driving in heavy traffic.
  4.  Hot showers and baths always good in the winter, but when you can, particularly when just washing your face or hands, choose lukewarm water to avoid stripping as many oils away from the skin.
  5.  Do carry a packet of cleansing pads soaked with your cleansing lotion at all times. Keep an extra packet in your glove compartment.
  6.  Do keep away from cigarette smoke.
  7.  Do attach filters to faucets in your home.
  8.  Do establish your own cleaning ritual according to your skin type, and stick to it-it's the best protection for your skin.
  9.  Anticipate any sudden changes of environment, and alter your skin routines accordingly.
  10.  Your skin not only need more moisture, but moisture right away you wash. Applying moisture to damp skin helps seal that dampness into your skin. Keep the bottle near the bathtub, shower stall and at every sink and use liberally every time you wash. (best moisture recommended)
  11.  Always let the water run first for a minute or so before using it.

  15.  Keep your hair clean; any impurities will fall on your skin.
